I walked in to David's exhibition with my husband at the Leigh Art Trail, and the moment we saw this piece, we couldn't stop coming back to it. Of all the paintings in the room, this one called to us. The colour, the movement, the feeling, it was as if it was painted just for us. We both saw weeping willows over a river, instantly taking us back to when we first met in Cambridge and walked those beautiful river paths ourselves. This August, we celebrated nine years of marriage, and that painting felt like a little snapshot of the beginnings of our relationship. Now it hangs in our main living space, where we get to appreciate it every single day. I?m a writer, and I love how its modern bursts of vibrant pinks, turquoise, and purples sit next to my vintage Georgian writing desk. The new contrasting with the old. Having had my eye on this piece of art for a while, I finally decided to purchase one for myself! I have grown up loving Winnie the Pooh (and pink) so this was the perfect piece of art for me. Came across David's work by accident at a pop up exhibition in Kent and knew the piece was perfect for our new home.  It looked so great I started to follow David on socials and another piece caught my eye so we got in touch.  David carried out a private viewing with a selection of pieces at our home to ensure we got the right artwork for the space. I am pleaesed to say we now have four of David's pieces and love the uniqeness of each one. No hesitation in recomending and if you see something you like I can ensure you it will be even better when you see it in person. I have followed David since seeing his work and speaking with him at a local art fair a year or so ago. I enjoyed a lot of his collection but nothing was quite right at the time. When I saw ?Breathe? on Instagram I knew it was the piece for me and when I reached out to David he was super helpful with all the info I needed to make sure it was right for my space and in days it was on my wall! I?m pleased to say it looks even better in real life than in the images, and the way the gold catches the light at different times of the day really makes it special. I cannot recommend David highly enough!! His work is just incredible. From helping me select the right piece for my room, sending me computer generated images of what the real thing would look like in my room, to changing the painting a little to accommodate my colour scheme, basically giving it the same attention to detail as a commission, to crating it to me in another country so safely, all the while staying in touch with me throughout the process. Just outstanding, so professional. I feel David really went above and beyond. But the absolute best bit? The feeling when I saw the actual piece in my room. It is just perfect. Having been an avid follower of David Kirkman?s work on social media and various exhibitions across Kent and Essex we had the pleasure of working directly with David to produce a commission piece for our home. David is an absolute joy to deal with, he made the somewhat daunting process a complete breeze and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. He made us feel completely at ease and worked with us through every step to create a very large piece of abstract art that looks STUNNING on the wall. I have been lucky enough to have one of dkirkman pieces of art and wow it is soooooo amazing, everyone who has come round has commented on it. It has the wowfactor the size the colours the textures, it is everything I have been looking for, for so long. I have also had the pleasure of seeing a lot of his other pieces and now I?m looking for spaces in my home to fill ??. I am incredibly lucky to have three paintings by DKirkman Art, two are commissions and the latest is from his ?Love & Honey? collection. For the commissions Dave listened and maintained communication throughout and made changes along the way and his own suggestions that really gave the art the wow factor, both are proudly displayed in prominent areas around the house. The latest love and honey print is a real talking point and the quality and detail is beautiful. We had the ?Better Together? Winnie the Pooh print shipped to us in the Netherlands from David. We saw it in a gallery in Folkestone when on holiday, we immediately fell in love with it but the gallery had already sold it. We searched the web and found David, who was happy to ship it to us.
